Diploma in
Christian Studies
(Dip.C.S.)
A
30 unit core is required.
The Diploma in
Christian Studies is the ideal place for either the
adult learner who has no college background, or the individual
who simply wants to broaden his or her ministry education.
Graduates of the
Diploma in Christian Studies program are ideally
situated to continue study at the Associate level. This is
a complete Diploma program with a curriculum of 30 units.
Associate in Ministry
(A.Min.)
A
30 unit minimum core is required
to complete this 60 unit degree.
The
A.Min.
program has been specifically
designed for the older student who has little if any college
experience. The A.Min. is primarily a degree completion
program with a core curriculum of 30 units. You may
receive up to 30 more units of credit for work that you have
already completed, which makes it possible to earn this 60 unit
degree by taking the 30 unit core only. Your previously
earned credits may come from a combination of college-level,
technical school, military training, or
Advanced
Standing Placement. Of course, you may also make up
some (or all) of the 30 non-core credits by taking one or more
elective courses.
An experienced Admissions Advisor will
help you put together a combination of your previous education,
relevant adult learning experiences, or necessary elective
courses that will qualify you to earn your
Associate in
Ministry degree.

Arts in Christian Studies
(B.A.C.S.)
With
Concentrations
A
30 unit minimum core is required
to complete this 120 unit degree.
The
B.A.C.S.
degree is perfect for those individuals who have completed a
substantial number of college credits, but have not been able to
actually complete a bachelor level degree. The degree is
offered across several concentrations. Practically
speaking, this is a degree completion program with a core
curriculum of 30 units. You may receive up to 90 more
units of credit for work that you have already completed, which
makes it possible to earn this 120 unit degree by taking the 30
unit core only. Your previously earned credits may come
from a combination of college-level, technical school, military
training, or
Advanced
Standing Placement
(60 of these credits must come from
college-level courses, and include 30 credits from general
education courses such as English, history, etc.)*.
Of course, you may also make up some (or all) of the 90 non-core
credits by taking one or more elective or general education
courses. In some cases, it may be possible to "test out"
of some of the general education courses.
An experienced Admissions Advisor will
help you put together a combination of your previous education,
relevant adult learning experiences, necessary elective or
general education courses that will qualify you to earn your
Bachelor
of Arts in Christian Studies
degree.
