PROGRAM TRACKS - Three ways to compete a degree.
The goal of the Standard, Accelerated, and Accelerated Combination Program Tracks is to assist the student in maximizing all acceptable past learning experiences, and to encourage the recognition of such learning through a high quality program of study leading to a degree.

I.  THE STANDARD TRACK allows you to complete your Program with the courses shown in the Program of your choice.  This is designed for Applicants who meet the minimum prerequisite for the Program level selected.

Example One:  If you have no college-level credits to transfer, and no Life-Learning Portfolio potential, you may be able to enroll in an associate degree program.

Example Two:  An acceptable associate degree from an approved school may allow you to apply for a bachelor degree requiring only the final two years of study.

Example Three:  An acceptable bachelor's-level degree from an approved school may allow you to apply for a master's level degree.

Example four:  An acceptable master's-level degree from an approved school may allow you to apply for a doctoral level degree.

II.  THE ACCELERATED TRACK allows you to transfer previously earned acceptable relevant credits toward the requirements for a particular degree program, thereby reducing the number of credits necessary to earn the degree.

Example One:  If you have 15 acceptable college-level credits to transfer, and think you can earn at least 15 additional credits from our Life-Learning Portfolio system, you may be able to enroll in an associate degree program and complete only the remaining 30 credits (60 credits total).

Example Two:  If you have 75 acceptable college-level credits to transfer, and think you can earn at least 15 additional credits from our Life-Learning Portfolio system, you may be able to enroll in a bachelor's degree program and complete only the remaining 30 credits (120 credits total).

Example Three:  At the master's level, in some cases you may be able to transfer acceptable and relevant previously earned master's level credits thereby reducing the number of credits required by up to 45%.

Example Four: At the doctorate level, in some cases you may be able to transfer acceptable and relevant previously earned doctoral level credits thereby reducing the number of credits required by up to 45%.

Example Five:  (Second Doctorate Privilege) Individuals holding an acceptable relevant earned doctorate from an approved institution, may apply for either the Doctor of Biblical Studies or the Doctor of Ministry Second Doctorate Privilege.  This option makes it possible to earn the second doctorate by completing three core courses and the doctoral writing project.

III.  THE ACCELERATED COMBINATION TRACK  allows you to actually complete two degree programs under a single overall registration option.  This is designed for Applicants who substantially exceed the minimum prerequisite for the Program level selected through approved credit transfer.

Example One:  If you have not less than 108 acceptable previously earned credits from an acceptable institution(s), but have not earned your bachelor's degree, you may possibly qualify to enter the Accelerated Combination Track by enrolling for both your bachelor's and master's degree at the same time.  When you graduate, you are awarded both degrees.

Example Two:  Holding an acceptable bachelor's degree from an approved school, and transferring not less than twenty-one (21) relevant credits from a previous master's program earned at an acceptable institution, you may qualify to complete both the master's and doctoral programs at the same time.   When you graduate, you are awarded both degrees.

Please consult with an Admissions Counselor to determine if you meet one of the Program Tracks detailed above.
