Testimonials from
Students Attending Accelerated Seminars.
"It was
truly a pleasure to meet the MISD team of professionals who
instructed during the Pensacola Super Seminar Week. The commitment
to spiritual growth, course of instruction, team building and
friendships that were formed at the conference is a tribute to the
high standards that Master’s espouses.
As an
Army officer of over seventeen years, and having had the opportunity
to go through multiple degree programs both in and out of the
service, I can unequivocally say that Master’s International School
of Divinity provides the most personalized, well structured,
flexible, and challenging curriculums in higher education that I
have attended as a student.
I would
highly recommend Master’s to anyone desiring to increase their
knowledge and spiritual growth in the Word of our Lord while pursing
an advanced educational degree. Top notch instructors along with an
incredibly diverse and talented student body makes Master’s on-line
courses coupled with interactive seminars truly a cut above the rest
in theological universities. I am truly honored to be an MISD
student.
Yours In Christ,
Matt Ballard, Major (P), MI
"I went
to my first one last week & it was the best seminar that I have ever
attended in my entire life. I left feeling refreshed, energized &
ready to complete my studies. I was almost at a point of giving up.
Thanks for offering these. I was really hesitant about signing up
for the seminars and at first kept using the excuse that the cost of
travel, the seminar cost & the monthly fee I am already paying is
too much. When the seminars were offered in St Louis, I used the
excuse that to pay my monthly balance & pay for a seminar is too
much, but I am so very glad that I did. It was worth it!"

"I am a
retired Army Master Sergeant, and also a licensed and ordained
minister. I have been a student at Masters seeking a degree in the
discipline of Ministry for sometime. Working full time, ministering
in the Sunday School, Bible studies and preaching when open doors
came available and going to school on line with Masters as time and
money permitted me to.
I have studied at some of the other schools, and there are some good
ones out there. However, Masters seem to challenge me the most.
Masters is serious about religious education and preparing men and
women to serve God. Everything that I have done through Masters have
been Biblically based. There are no give- a-ways here! I was looking
for programs that were online which worked with my schedule,
affordable and most importantly legitimate - not a diploma mill -
but a college level program that would help me develop as a
minister. It is my humble opinion that Masters Divinity is this type
of school.
Recently information came to me about a seminar that was being
offered in the area in which I live, and though I really did not
have the money I felt led to register. I felt the need to come face
with my instructors to ask questions and to learn. Also it was an
ideal opportunity to jump-start my studies! Although at first
apprehensive about how things would turn out, I came trusting God.
The teaching was done in a manner that I believed brought glory to
God and helped me tremendously in my spiritual growth. I really felt
a move of God in my life.
I had been praying for a revival especially in the Church I worship,
and when I attended this seminar God revived me! The teachers were
extremely knowledgeable of the Word of God and they were not aloof
but were men with like passions as I. I attended all five days of
the seminar and felt that it was well worth the money and effort,
and as the Lord Leads and opens up more opportunities I would like
to attend even more. The spirit of all who were there - students and
faculty alike - was friendly and willing to assist in anyway. I feel
that through Masters I am being prepared to do God’s Work, God’s
Way. I challenge anyone that is considering a degree in any of the
ministry disciplines to consider Masters Divinity."

"I appreciate
MISD and the opportunity I now have to further my education in
conjunction with all the other responsibilities as a husband, father
of three and full time staff member here at First Baptist Church.
Very shortly after coming on staff, I saw a tremendous need for
Biblical counseling in our church, community and surrounding area
and felt led to pursue a degree in Biblical Counseling. I met with a
friend and Christian brother, Dr. Jim McBride, who had recently
worked through Master's to obtain his degree in Biblical counseling.
Jim shared with me of his positive experience at MISD, especially at
the seminars. After prayerful consideration, coupled with counsel
from my Senior Pastor, here I am!
With the self-paced approach at MISD, I find that I can work as
rapidly as possible, given my home and work requirements. The staff
at Master's has always been very helpful and understanding no matter
what my circumstance. The distance learning model has been an answer
to prayer given my inability to attend class on campus. The seminars
have provided an excellent opportunity for personal interaction with
faculty and other students which is sometimes very beneficial for a
deeper and more meaningful learning experience.
Thank you MISD for this wonderful, self-paced and affordable
opportunity to advance my skills and abilities for His glory and
honor!"

"I first
became aware of Master's when I attended an IABC Conference in
Denver. I enjoyed the classes so much that I decided to go on for my
Master's Degree. I finished that degree, and applied for my
Doctorate Degree which I am now working towards.
I so enjoy attending seminars because I get to know the professors
on a more personal level and interact with students who are
enthusiastically pursuing their degrees. It is also encouraging to
interact with students at every degree level. There never seems to
be any partiality on the parts of the professors or the students as
we interact in classes.
I grew up Catholic and came to know Jesus when I was twenty-eight. I
have been married for thirty-six years and have three children. When
Danny, our middle child, was ten, he died with brain cancer. His
death changed the course of my life and the life of our family. A
few months after his death I was introduced to Biblical Counseling
and attended my first seminar in 1989 with the Biblical Counseling
Foundation then headquartered in Virginia. After taking their
training in lay Biblical Counseling I began counseling in my church.
I have been counseling at Grace Fellowship since 1990.
I have been certified by NANC and IABC - both great biblical
organizations. I have had the opportunity to teach Biblical
Counseling principles across the United States, and in New Zealand,
Mexico, Hungary, and the Gallapagos Islands. I long to minister to
missionaries on the field who are experiencing relationship
problems.
I had always wanted to pursue a degree in counseling and I have a
deep desire to know more of the Scriptures and how to use them to
minister life to broken people. Master's gave me that opportunity. I
am so grateful for a school that actually teaches Biblical
Counseling and not "Christian Counseling" (secular counseling
methodology with Scripture tacked on at the end). It is a joy to
work with the people at Master's. They have a heart for the Lord and
are interested in fulfilling the great command: "Love God and Love
others - going into the world and making disciples."
Thanks again for all you do,
Cathy Barshinger
"I want to
inform the staff at MISD of the privilege and honor it was for me to
join my brothers & sisters in Christ for a week of impartation and
teachings by the leadership team of MISD. They are truly strong men
of GOD that blessed my life tremendously with the deeper insight and
wisdom of GOD that HE has freely given them.
GOD called me to the ministry as HE has called us all. However, HE
called me to service as I mature spiritually in Him. After obtaining
my undergraduate degree in Business-Finance from Morris Brown
College, GOD led me to attend Divinity School because He wanted me
to prepare and understand the importance of knowing and teaching
sound doctrine. In my prayerful search of several schools, MISD has
proven to be the perfect fit for the preparation of what GOD is
calling me to, and is providing the foundation to build in ministry
upon.
MISD has provided me the opportunity to not only further my studies
as I seek my master s degree in ministry, but the school allows me
the opportunity to prepare for the level of service that GOD
entrusts to me as His vessel. Since becoming a student several
people that I have ministered to has been blessed by the wisdom &
knowledge that GOD has given me through my education at MISD. MISD
is the perfect school for the serious working student committed to
effective ministry.
GOD led me to choose Master s International School of Divinity, to
test and examine myself. What about you?"
Humbly grateful and in His service,
Minister LaQuonne Holden
"II Timothy 2:15
instructs us to Study to show thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of
truth.
I am 52 years old, was
in the Marine Corps for 13 years and have been part of a host of
other things. Today I work for ADT Security Services as an
executive commercial sales representative. My wife (Janas
Jackson) and I am Minister’s of the gospel at Evangel Cathedral in
upper Marlboro Maryland serving as leaders in the Pastoral Care
Department with a congregation with over 4,000. We also have
our own Ministry called Christian Stewardship Ministries, teaching
classes on how to be a good steward of what God has given us as well
as serving the homeless in the Washington, DC area with clothes,
bibles, tracts and love.
My wife is seeking her
Associates degree and I my Bachelors degree at Master’s
International School of Divinity. Yes, II Timothy 2:15 tells us to
study, and I thought after all that I have done in my life, I had
studied a lot. Only until I attended the accelerated class offered
by Masters did I find out that I have not studied enough!
I learned a lot in
such a small period. I have been trying to get through the
degree program for several years, and it has been a challenge
because the on-line lessons, the reading and writing assignments
have not been easy for me. However, since I did a week in the
accelerated class seminar atmosphere it went by like a breeze.
I knocked out four classes, and now I only have two courses
remaining.
I am going to get
those two done through the seminar format, and then I am signing up
for my Master Degree. I can hardly believe how excited I am about
what God is doing in my life! When I got home, I could not stop
telling my wife and my friends about the experience that had taken
place during the seminars in Indiana.
If you are having
difficulty in starting or even finishing your degree, you must
attend a Master’s seminar to get a jump-start on your new life and a
new beginning.
You may think, but
there is so much pressure on me because of all the daily things I
have to do. Let me tell you something, the Lord has a work
for you to do, a special part for you to play, a place that only you
can fill. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, For I know the thoughts
that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of
evil, to give you a future and a hope.
If you want to fill
that place, you must put yourself in agreement with God and obey his
word. Commit to walking with him, commit to finishing or starting
your degree with Master’s International School of Divinity, be ready
to learn, ready to change, get ready for your mind to be renewed!"

I was
very pleased with the Accelerated Advanced New Testament Seminar.
Having taken a number of New Testament survey courses, I was
impressed with the content, scope, pacing, and pragmatism of the
advanced seminar. The emphasis on the spiritual dimensions of the
New Testament and the intentional connections made with the four
Gospels and the Johannine, Pauline, and Petrine Epistles made the
presentations both captivating and thought-provoking. The multiple
handouts, which were distributed to help guide discourse, were a
valuable adjunct to remarks and illustrations. The handouts will
also be useful in the future for revisiting the notes I took in
class, for aiding in the preparation of subsequent lessons and
sermons, and for structuring additional Bible study.
The style
of presentation was easy to follow and comprehend. The professor's
anecdotes and supporting comments were enlightening and
entertaining. His encouragement of active participation in the
seminar permitted the students to enrich and extend the
information presented. Spirited discussion, punctuated with
diverse points of view, created a vibrant learning community,
which accentuated the seminal points raised. Challenging
participants to reflect and apply new insights and information
made the seminar both edifying and practical.
On
balance, then, the Accelerated Advanced New Testament Seminar was
masterfully planned and orchestrated. It has enlivened my interest
in pursing more seminar opportunities at MISD.
All
Master's International School of Divinity staff members are to be
commended for an outstanding seminar. Please express my sincere
gratitude to each of them. Personally and spiritually, the seminar
and its attendant activities were an unqualified blessing for me.

My
experience with MISD has been totally positive. The three
seminars I completed were all well organized and developed (they
were also demanding). What has impressed me the most is the
teaching staff's emphasis on becoming "doers of the word." I
have taught philosophy and world religion for a number of years
and have become increasingly aware that talk is cheap. I
have learned that we will fight for religion, pay for religion,
debate endlessly about religion, even die for religion-- we are
good at just about everything but living it. My relationship
at MISD has given me new hope for the application of Christ's
teachings.
May
God bless Master's International School of Divinity, and may you
fully understand how valuable you are as you throw your "little"
weight onto the eternal scales of good and evil.
With
love and fellowship,
Michael L. Robinson, B.A., English & Philosophy; M.A., Literature
& Philosophy, Brigham Young University; D.P.Th., Master's
International School of Divinity; Professor of Philosophy & World
Religion, Utah Valley State College
Getting my degree with MISD through the seminar method has been a
really great experience. Being retired, just a Sunday School
teacher and not a paid staff member, I questioned whether this was
really something I should be investing in. To be honest, I was
more than a little leery of what I was getting into.
Like
everything else in life, you get out of it what you put into it.
But MISD offers degree programs and courses that are very high
quality, and not easily found at other institutions.
Educationally, I received more than I bargained for. I
received a strong Bible-based education that I can use in every area
of the life God has given me.

I
want to thank you for the time and work you put into our Advanced NT
seminar. The seminar was spiritually and content rich. I
hope it met your expectations because it exceeded mine.
The Research and Writing Seminar also exceeded my expectations.
The preparation of my thesis proposal proved life-changing. I have
had a clear picture in my heart that God wants me to serve as a
Christian Executive/Administrator. Now, I have a further
vision of my contribution to the church. I intend to champion
the care of pastoral staff. I want to speak for servants of God who
are not free to speak for themselves on such a topic. This is
a vision I will pursue with confidence, professional integrity and
passion.
It was a privilege to be part of these classes. You were
correct when you said that this experience would strengthen my
appreciation for MISD. The spiritual and academic levels of
both leaders and participants was inspiring. I continue my
degree studies with renewed enthusiasm.
God's best
to you,

Thank you for one of the best and meaningful seminars I have
recently experienced! Your information will be most helpful in
dealing with the women coming to counseling in my office. I am
the only female counselor, and women do request another female. Many
of my clients have been abused, or have addictions, or may be
suffering from post-abortive stress. I am excited about the
Master's International School of Divinity Programs and have devoted
this coming year to more seminars and another degree in specifically
this area. I am grateful that our paths have crossed and we know
that this is not a coincidence! God knows what He is
doing...sometimes, it takes me, His servant, longer to figure it
out.
Anyway, I wanted to thank you again,

I cannot
say enough about the wonderful experience I have had with MISD. I
spent this last week alone with God in the beautiful woods of the
Missouri Ozarks and I was reminded of the wonderful students,
faculty and staff that God has called to the school and the
tremendous impact they have made in my life and the ministry to
which He has called me. May God continue to bless His ministry at
Master's as he works through each of you to prepare men and women as
servants of Christ Jesus.

Thank you
so very much for an enriching experience as I completed some of my
Doctoral Program requirements by taking the seminars course. The
high quality of the seminars as well as the excellent caliber of the
professors provided a scholarly and meaningful experience for me.
The professionalism of your staff consistently provided a
comfortable environment for the seminar student. I plan to take
additional seminars as a continuing education student.
Sincerely,
Susan Hunt
The spirit of the living God moves us who are seeking to know him,
as well as others blessed by His spirit and anointing, in mysterious
ways. I am still in awe and utter amazement at how the Lord brought
me into an educational and spiritual relationship with Master's
International School of Divinity. I give all honors and praise to
the Lord Jesus Christ for providing to me this divine relationship
and communion with God spirited and inspired men and women at this
great school. For several years, I prayed to be lead to a divinity
school that advocates biblical doctrine as its core. My prayers have
been answered!
This is my second seminar with Master's International School of
Divinity; and like the seminar before, I have received the richness
of biblical teaching from both. The professors/biblical scholars Dr.
Frey and Dr. Frazier both possess an anointing and abundance of
knowledge. More importantly, their ability to provide sound in-depth
biblical interpretation along with their experiences as preachers
and teachers make for an extraordinary learning experience. Each
learning experience with Master's is a building block that will
equip me to grow spiritually, gain greater biblical understanding,
and to become better able to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ!
