Testimonials from Students Attending Accelerated Seminars.

"I went to my first one last week & it was the best seminar that I have ever attended in my entire life. I left feeling refreshed, energized & ready to complete my studies. I was almost at a point of giving up.  Thanks for offering these. I was really hesitant about signing up for the seminars and at first kept using the excuse that the cost of travel, the seminar cost & the monthly fee I am already paying is too much. When the seminars were offered in St Louis, I used the excuse that to pay my monthly balance & pay for a seminar is too much, but I am so very glad that I did. It was worth it!"

"II Timothy 2:15 instructs us to Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.

I am 52 years old, was in the Marine Corps for 13 years and have been part of a host of other things.  Today I work for ADT Security Services as an executive commercial sales representative.  My wife (Janas Jackson) and I am Minister’s of the gospel at Evangel Cathedral in upper Marlboro Maryland serving as leaders in the Pastoral Care Department with a congregation with over 4,000.  We also have our own Ministry called Christian Stewardship Ministries, teaching classes on how to be a good steward of what God has given us as well as serving the homeless in the Washington, DC area with clothes, bibles, tracts and love.

My wife is seeking her Associates degree and I my Bachelors degree at Master’s International School of Divinity. Yes, II Timothy 2:15 tells us to study, and I thought after all that I have done in my life, I had studied a lot. Only until I attended the accelerated class offered by Masters did I find out that I have not studied enough!

I learned a lot in such a small period.  I have been trying to get through the degree program for several years, and it has been a challenge because the on-line lessons, the reading and writing assignments have not been easy for me. However, since I did a week in the accelerated class seminar atmosphere it went by like a breeze.  I knocked out four classes, and now I only have two courses remaining.

I am going to get those two done through the seminar format, and then I am signing up for my Master Degree. I can hardly believe how excited I am about what God is doing in my life!  When I got home, I could not stop telling my wife and my friends about the experience that had taken place during the seminars in Indiana.

If you are having difficulty in starting or even finishing your degree, you must attend a Master’s seminar to get a jump-start on your new life and a new beginning.

You may think, but there is so much pressure on me because of all the daily things I have to do.  Let me tell you something, the Lord has a work for you to do, a special part for you to play, a place that only you can fill.  Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

If you want to fill that place, you must put yourself in agreement with God and obey his word. Commit to walking with him, commit to finishing or starting your degree with Master’s International School of Divinity, be ready to learn, ready to change, get ready for your mind to be renewed!"

I was very pleased with the Accelerated Advanced New Testament Seminar. Having taken a number of New Testament survey courses, I was impressed with the content, scope, pacing, and pragmatism of the advanced seminar. The emphasis on the spiritual dimensions of the New Testament and the intentional connections made with the four Gospels and the Johannine, Pauline, and Petrine Epistles made the presentations both captivating and thought-provoking. The multiple handouts, which were distributed to help guide discourse, were a valuable adjunct to remarks and illustrations. The handouts will also be useful in the future for revisiting the notes I took in class, for aiding in the preparation of subsequent lessons and sermons, and for structuring additional Bible study.

The style of presentation was easy to follow and comprehend. The professor's anecdotes and supporting comments were enlightening and entertaining. His encouragement of active participation in the seminar permitted the students to enrich and extend the information presented. Spirited discussion, punctuated with diverse points of view, created a vibrant learning community, which accentuated the seminal points raised. Challenging participants to reflect and apply new insights and information made the seminar both edifying and practical.

On balance, then, the Accelerated Advanced New Testament Seminar was masterfully planned and orchestrated. It has enlivened my interest in pursing more seminar opportunities at MISD.

All Master's International School of Divinity staff members are to be commended for an outstanding seminar. Please express my sincere gratitude to each of them. Personally and spiritually, the seminar and its attendant activities were an unqualified blessing for me.

Sincerely,

Donald D. Forrester, B.S., Frostburg State University; M.Ed., Bowie State University; Ed.D., Nova Southeastern University; M.A. Theol., St. Mary’s Seminary and University; A.B.S.C., Moody Bible Institute; Th.D., Andersonville Theological Seminary; D.B.S., Master’s International School of Divinity.  Founder and Secretary, St. Andrew Evangelical Christian Ministries, Inc.  Evangelist, Men of Faith.

My experience with MISD has been totally positive.  The three seminars I completed were all well organized and developed (they were also demanding).  What has impressed me the most is the teaching staff's emphasis on becoming "doers of the word."  I have taught philosophy and world religion for a number of years and have become increasingly aware that talk is cheap.  I have learned that we will fight for religion, pay for religion, debate endlessly about religion, even die for religion-- we are good at just about everything but living it.  My relationship at MISD has given me new hope for the application of Christ's teachings.

May God bless Master's International School of Divinity, and may you fully understand how valuable you are as you throw your "little" weight onto the eternal scales of good and evil.

With love and fellowship,

Michael L. Robinson, B.A., English & Philosophy; M.A., Literature & Philosophy, Brigham Young University; D.P.Th. student, Master's Graduate School of Divinity
Professor of Philosophy & World Religion, Utah Valley State College

Getting my degree with MISD through the seminar method has been a really great experience.  Being retired, just a Sunday School teacher and not a paid staff member, I questioned whether this was really something I should be investing in.  To be honest, I was more than a little leery of what I was getting into.

Like everything else in life, you get out of it what you put into it.  But MISD offers degree programs and courses that are very high quality, and not easily found at other institutions.  Educationally, I received more than I bargained for.  I received a strong Bible-based education that I can use in every area of the life God has given me.

In Christ Jesus,

John Shearer, B.Min., Biblical Counseling, Master's International School of Divinity

I want to thank you for the time and work you put into our Advanced NT seminar.  The seminar was spiritually and content rich.  I hope it met your expectations because it exceeded mine.

The Research and Writing Seminar also exceeded my expectations.  The preparation of my thesis proposal proved life-changing. I have had a clear picture in my heart that God wants me to serve as a Christian Executive/Administrator.  Now, I have a further vision of my contribution to the church.  I intend to champion the care of pastoral staff. I want to speak for servants of God who are not free to speak for themselves on such a topic.  This is a vision I will pursue with confidence, professional integrity and passion.

It was a privilege to be part of these classes.  You were correct when you said that this experience would strengthen my appreciation for MGSD.  The spiritual and academic levels of both leaders and participants was inspiring.  I continue my degree studies with renewed enthusiasm.

God's best to you,

David Cox, B.A. Music Education, John Brown University; Studies at Mid-America Baptist Seminary; Lincoln Christian Seminary; M.Min., D.P.Th. in Christian Administration, Master's International School of Divinity

Thank you for one of the best and meaningful seminars I have recently experienced!  Your information will be most helpful in dealing with the women coming to counseling in my office.  I am the only female counselor, and women do request another female. Many of my clients have been abused, or have addictions, or may be suffering from post-abortive stress.  I am excited about the Master's International School of Divinity Programs and have devoted this coming year to more seminars and another degree in specifically this area. I am grateful that our paths have crossed and we know that this is not a coincidence!  God knows what He is doing...sometimes, it takes me, His servant, longer to figure it out.

Anyway, I wanted to thank you again,

Lorraine Griffiths

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience I have had with MISD. I spent this last week alone with God in the beautiful woods of the Missouri Ozarks and I was reminded of the wonderful students, faculty and staff that God has called to the school and the tremendous impact they have made in my life and the ministry to which He has called me. May God continue to bless His ministry at Master's as he works through each of you to prepare men and women as servants of Christ Jesus.

In His Service,

Pastor Jim Jupin, First Congregational Community Church

Thank you so very much for an enriching experience as I completed some of my Doctoral Program requirements by taking the seminars course. The high quality of the seminars as well as the excellent caliber of the professors provided a scholarly and meaningful experience for me.

The professionalism of your staff consistently provided a comfortable environment for the seminar student. I plan to take additional seminars as a continuing education student.

Sincerely,
Susan Hunt, Doctoral Graduate from the great state of Maryland near the District of Columbia, (Washington, D.C.) !

The spirit of the living God moves us who are seeking to know him, as well as others blessed by His spirit and anointing, in mysterious ways. I am still in awe and utter amazement at how the Lord brought me into an educational and spiritual relationship with Master's International School of Divinity. I give all honors and praise to the Lord Jesus Christ for providing to me this divine relationship and communion with God spirited and inspired men and women at this great school. For several years, I prayed to be lead to a divinity school that advocates biblical doctrine as its core. My prayers have been answered!

This is my second seminar with Master's International School of Divinity; and like the seminar before, I have received the richness of biblical teaching from both. The professors/biblical scholars Dr. Frey and Dr. Frazier both possess an anointing and abundance of knowledge. More importantly, their ability to provide sound in-depth biblical interpretation along with their experiences as preachers and teachers make for an extraordinary learning experience. Each learning experience with Master's is a building block that will equip me to grow spiritually, gain greater biblical understanding, and to become better able to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ!

In the sprit of Christ,
Dr. Petrina D. Revell
