THE GRADING PROCESS Below you will see a generic sample of the form used by faculty to grade student's submissions. While the actual form is somewhat more sophisticated, the representation below will give you a general idea of the grading criteria. The length of time that it takes for a course project to be graded varies depending upon the type of course project. However, generally speaking, students may expect that course projects and final examinations will make it through the vetting, grading and final recording process within three to six weeks following the date they were first received. The exception to this is the type of Online Live Seminar (OLS) final exams which are actually scored immediately following the exam and online review process. The essay type OLS exams are graded the same as other proctored exams. NOTE: OLS course pre-seminar projects are graded using the same process as all other courses. OLS students may expect that pre-seminar course projects will make it through the vetting, grading and final recording process within three to six weeks following the date they were first received.
