HISTORIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Master's is honored to announce that we have partnered with the Institute for Creation Research www.icr.org  in an official academic joint venture.  MISD has since it's founding in 1999 recommend ICR and all of its programs as a preferred resource for MISD students and graduates.  Master's President, Dr. Frey noted, "I consider ICR to be the world's leading and most reliable creation research organization."

Now, an academic partnership is being announced.  MISD and ICR's School of Biblical Apologetics will cooperate in the administration of the MISD Master of Arts in Biblical Creation Apologetics.  Click HERE for complete details.

MISD NANC
CERTIFIED

At the NANC Annual Conference held during the week of October 3, 2010, three academic institutions were awarded "Certified Training Center" status.  Dr. David Tyler, Dean of the Department of Biblical Counseling received the award on behalf of Master's.  This important certification was achieved through Dr. Tyler's tireless efforts to improve and expand the reach of the Department of Biblical Counseling.  Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary were also recognized.

Biblical counseling graduates of years past, are encouraged to consider NANC membership and certification; and as we have for nearly a decade, we also encourage membership and certification with the International Association of Biblical Counselors.

ANNOUNCING ANOTHER HISTORIC MILESTONE - Master's is honored to announce academic recognition by one of America's most respected secular online Universities.  MISD has received approval to announce that we have been given authorization by California Coast University to make selected official referrals of our bachelor's graduates for acceptance into an appropriate graduate degree program at Cal Coast. 

Generally this means that upon official referral by MISD, Bachelor of Arts graduates may apply for admission to the M.B.A. programs, and the M.Sc. in Management program at California Coast University.

Specifically this means that bachelor graduates of MISD must first request, and then obtain, an official referral by MISD before making application to the University.  MISD will first determine the relevancy and appropriateness of the degree earned.  If an official referral is issued by MISD, the graduate will then be authorized to apply for admission to the master's degree programs as noted above.

• For graduates this means that you must contact MISD prior to making application to determine if you will be granted an official referral.

• For students this means that in order to be prepared to qualify for an official referral following your graduation, you must first meet current standards and requirements.

• For former students who may have dropped out of your MISD  program, it means that you now have another significant reason to return, and graduate.
