DOCTORATE DEGREES
The highest level of academic achievement is generally
considered to be the doctoral degree. However,
"According to the US Census 2000, 2% of the population have
Professional Degrees (MD, DDS, DVM, JD etc) and 1% have
research based doctoral degrees (PhD, EdD etc)"

In Christian ministry, the earning of the doctorate degree
allows an individual the freedom to study in his or her area
of concentration at the highest level. For most, it is
not about the title,
 rather
it is about the subject studied and knowledge refined.
