SHARON L. FREY
Mrs. Frey has been working with children since 1972. Her
experience includes teaching at the grade school level in Christian
schools, children's ministry in the local church, bus ministries,
children's camps, vacation Bible school, and of course, teaching and
directing day care and preschool programs.
Sharon is the founding director of three day care and preschool
programs, has extensive experience working with local and state
government, and has served as a practicum supervisor for students in
the Early Childhood Development program at the University of
Illinois.
Her educational background includes Mt. St. Clair College for Women;
Florissant Valley College; Certificate of Early Childhood
Development from Parkland College, as well as numerous professional
seminars and related workshops. She holds the Bachelor of
Religious Education degree from Trinity College of the Bible.
Sharon is the mother of two grown children, Troy and Melissa, grandmother of two boys, Benjamin
Frey and Jeffrey Geisler, and great grandson Titus Frey. She and her
husband have been married since 1967, and have served in Christian
ministry and Christian education since 1974. She is an
accomplished artist, Bible scholar, and outdoor adventurer and
boater.
