Alabama - “Master’s has been granted authorization by the State of Alabama under Title 16-5-10 (14), Code of Alabama (1975) to offer certificates, diplomas, and select non-academic degree associate programs."   Alabama residents interested in academic programs other than those listed are encouraged to contact the Admissions Department directly (1-800-933-1445 or request@mdivs.edu).

Florida - The Florida Commission for Independent Education accepted Master's application for compliance with Section 1005.061(1), Florida Statutes pursuant to religious institutions, and has determined that Master's "has met the requirements of state law and is not subject to governmental oversight." (May 2007).

Kentucky - Master's has been assured of  the privilege to conduct academic seminars in the State of Kentucky.  This assurance is not the same as the status in the other states where Master's has standing.  It reflects only that Master's has made certain of this privilege through official contact with the Kentucky Commission of Higher Education.

Missouri- The Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education has accepted Master’s application for compliance with Subsection 173.616.2 RSMo pursuant to religions institutions and has determined that Master’s meet the requirements for exemption subject to annual verification (November 2007).

Oregon - Master's has satisfied the conditions for achievement of Religious Exempt status, and has been granted legal authority to issue degrees bearing religious titles at the bachelor and masters level (March 2006).  Oregon residents interested in doctoral programs are encouraged to contact the Admissions Department directly (1-800-933-1445 or request@mdivs.edu).

Master's is a member of the Better Business Bureau Online Reliability Program.

More on C.P.C.A.    We recognize and honor the value of legitimate academic and institutional peer review. For this reason, Master's has achieved certification with the Council of Private Colleges of America.

Since certification is a rather new option for Theological Distance Education institutions, and different from accreditation, it may be helpful to visit the above link after reading the following brief explanation.

The mission of the CPCA is to serve private faith based educational institutions through quality standards and practices. The purpose of the CPCA is to promote quality faith based education, and provide support services for faith based educational institutions to accomplish their individual purpose and mission. The CPCA represents member faith based educational institutions before government or other educational agencies, and provides certification to member faith based educational institutions through quality peer review and onsite certification visits verifying CPCA standards.

In addition, appreciating the value of USDE recognized accrediting agencies, Master's has achieved affiliated status with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (a USDE recognized agency). As such, we participates in and contribute to collegial and professional development activities of the Association. Our affiliate status does not, however, constitute, imply or presume ABHE accredited status at present or in the future.
