YES, IT IS POSSIBLE TO EARN BOTH DEGREES IN A SINGLE PROGRAM OF 60 CREDITS OR LESS!

  • If you have an Associate Degree or at least 60 transferable undergraduate credits, you can earn both the Bachelor of Ministry and the Master's of Ministry by completing a total of 60 credits or less!

  • Question: How is this possible when the total credits required for the Bachelor of Ministry degree is 120, and the Master of Ministry requires 30 credits?  Answer:  While the total credits required for the bachelor's degree is 120, up to 30 of the credits may be awarded through our Life Learning Portfolio system (LLP).  Therefore you can use 60 previously earned course credits + 30 LLP credits + 30 course credits to reach 120 credits.  Most adults have no difficulty documenting up to 30 credits.  LLP credits can be documented anytime during the program.

  • If you have earned more than 60 undergraduate credits, the total credits required would be less.  For example, if you have earned 75 undergraduate credits (using 30 LLP credits), you would need only 15 bachelor level course credits + 30 master's level credits.  This would allow you to complete 45 course credits and earn both degrees.
