ADMISSIONS POLICY
  • Application is made following a preliminary evaluation process.  Each person who applies is given an individual evaluation consultation.  By this process we determine qualifications for acceptance into a program of study.  We have worked out a simple (and FREE) method of preliminary evaluation.  Click HERE.

  • We are an "Open Admission" Divinity School.  This means that we admit qualifiedWe can help you master the balancing act! male and female students without respect to race, color, national or ethnic origin.  It also means that we do not discriminate against students because of their academic background.  Click HERE for our policy on accepting transfer of credits, and the acceptance of previously earned degrees.  Each applicant is carefully evaluated in order to determine overall qualifications for entrance, and the results of the evaluation form the basis for admission.

  • As an International School of Divinity, we encourage applications from prospective students who live outside of the United States.  Please note:  1.  Because all of our programs are in English, prospective students must demonstrate acceptable English language skills prior to enrollment.  2. Prospective students must have adequate study resources (access to email, the internet, and postal support).  3. Since we bring the Divinity School to the student, we have no need to participate in the U.S. I-20 student visa program.

  • Entrance requirements are specific for each program.  For example:  To be accepted into the Master of Christian Studies program you must have a bachelor's degree.  Click any of the following links to review entrance requirements:  Undergraduate Degrees, Graduate DegreesPlease note:  Application to an undergraduate program by persons not having previously earned college transfer credits will involve a careful review in order to assure placement in the most appropriate program.  A high school diploma, GED or validation of comparable qualification will be required.

  • The Application Process is Uncomplicated and Straightforward.  Generally, the steps are:
     

    1. Complete the FREE Preliminary Evaluation.
    2. Work directly with an Admissions Counselor to determine the appropriate program of study.
    3. Submit your Application along with the Application Fee.
    4. Assemble transcripts and other required documentation for you previous education (we can provide you with the proper request form).  Click here [.pdf format].
    5. Request two letters of recommendation.  One must come from a personal friend with you whom you have been acquainted for not less than five years, and the other must come from either a member of the clergy or a person serving in higher education (we provide you with the proper request form).  Click here [.pdf format].
    6. Finalize the Application process, and receive approval from the Admissions Committee.
    7. Upon final approval of your Application for Admission, and making acceptable financial arrangements, you will be ready to sign your Official Registration agreement and begin your studies.
